For the colour way task I have chosen this design that I spotted at the Chelsea Harbour Interior Show. The design stood out to me as I love the detail in it.
The colour that stands out most to me in this colour way is the yellow, so I have put that as the key colour. It is quite a bright colour and has good contrast with the dark grey background colour. The pink causes a bit of discord in the design next to the yellow, and has been used to add extra details like outlines. For this design the background colour is quite dark while the other colours are bright which makes the design stand out.
The key colour in this design is the pale green/blue shade. Similarly to the first colour way, this is quite a bright colour. The second most dominant is the dark brown/grey shade, which causes the design to stand out well. Similarly to the first colour way they have used a dark neutral shade for the background. In contrast to the first colour way, the two colours used for the lines in this version are harmonious and quite similar, and not quite as bright.
The key colour in this design is the orange. This colour way is different to the other two as it has a light coloured background with darker shades on top. In my opinion this brightens up the whole design and is my personal favourite of the three colourways. Another difference in this colour way is the use of orange which is a bright colour, alongside grey which is more neutral. This design is more neutral with a pop of orange.
